Great moments in SCORELAND history: Lissa Hope

All through high school, I would hide my breasts. I would wear sweaters every single day and leggings even if it was summer. I would wear T-shirts over my swimsuits because I was told at a young age that it wasn’t appropriate to show my boobs. I wasn’t allowed to wear bikinis either, so it was a one-piece swimsuit with a big T-shirt on top.

So said Lissa Hope, one of the great discoveries of recent years. Lissa’s friend referred her. That’s often the case at SCORELAND with exceptional girls. Discoveries like Lissa make tears of happiness run down my face.

The button-down sweater and denim mini-skirt Lissa wears here is totally on the mark for this wholesome, young girl-next-door.

“I have been told by girls that they’re fake, and I’ll say, ‘I don’t remember getting surgery.’ But I did have someone say they look real. You can tell that they’re not fake. I’ve had people say, ‘There’s no way that you grew those yourself.’ And I was like, ‘I don’t know who else grew them. They’re on my body.’ And people say, ‘You must have back problems,’ and I say, ‘A little bit, but I like the way they look.’ I’ve had girls say, ‘If I had boobs like yours, I would never show them off. I would never wear something like that.'”

These are the bigoted comments TSG models have heard from insensitive people for the last 30 years. We call it “boob prejudice.” Fortunately, Lissa never lets this deplorable attitude affect her. “I was known for my breasts. I get stared at often. I am usually flattered by it because I think my body is beautiful and unique.” That it is.
